Tom Izzo is on the verge of setting an all-time Big Ten record, but he’s not focused on that when it comes to Tuesday night’s big-time matchup against Indiana.
Michigan State hosts Indiana on what could ironically be the same night Izzo becomes the all-time leader in Big Ten wins. Izzo is currently tied with Indiana legend head coach Bob Knight, and would move into first place by himself with a win over the Hoosiers.
Michigan State comes into this matchup looking to remain in the thick of the Big Ten title race. The Spartans are 19-4 overall and 10-2 in Big Ten play — which is just one half game behind Purdue for first place.
Indiana has been reeling as of late and seems destined for missing out on the NCAA Tournament again this season. The Hoosiers are in the midst of a five-game losing streak and have lost seven of their last eight games. Indiana is 14-10 overall and 5-8 in Big Ten play this year.
So what did Izzo have to say about the Hoosiers and this upcoming matchup on Tuesday night? Watch his pre-Indiana press conference held on Monday in the video below.
