Sacred Heart vs George Rogers Clark basketball showdown postponed. Here’s what to know

Tuesday’s girls basketball showdown between No. 1-ranked Sacred Heart and No. 2 George Rogers Clark has been postponed because of snow.

The game has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The Valkyries (21-2) and Cardinals (17-6) had been scheduled to meet as part of a strong doubleheader at GRC. No. 2 Great Crossing and No. 7 GRC were scheduled to meet in a boys battle that has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Sacred Heart beat GRC 68-42 on Feb. 1 in the championship game of the Republic Bank Louisville Invitational Tournament. The Valkyries have won 91 straight games against Kentucky competition.

All Tuesday night basketball games involving Jefferson County Public Schools teams were canceled.
