BOCA RATON — Don’t look now but the Florida Atlantic men’s basketball team is on a roll.
The Owls extended their winning streak to four games on Monday, outlasting the Charlotte 49ers 87-75 in an American Athletic Conference clash. FAU has won each of its last four games by an average margin of 19.5 points. The Owls have trailed in those games for just 11:18 while continuing to climb the AAC standings, currently tied with Tulane for fourth.
Kaleb Glenn’s 18 points led the way for FAU (14-10, 7-4). KyKy Tandy added 17, and Baba Miller stuffed the stat sheet with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Robert Braswell led Charlotte (9-16, 2-10) with 20 points.
“To win four in a row, we’re incredibly thankful for that,” FAU head coach John Jakus said. “I’m thrilled with tonight.”
