In what is one of the more anticipated updates of the 2024-25 season so far, the Alabama Crimson Tide are back on the move in the latest AP Poll Top 25.
Released on Monday afternoon, the Crimson Tide rise a spot up to No. 2 in the latest AP Poll, with Alabama jumping the Duke Blue Devils after they fell this past week. The Crimson Tide also received 23 first place votes, but still sit behind No. 1 Auburn in the AP Poll, who received 34 first place votes, with only nine total points separating the two for the nation’s top spot.
Now sitting at 20-3 overall, as well as 9-1 in SEC play, the Crimson Tide now enter a huge week of action that is set to begin Tuesday night in Austin against the Texas Longhorns. After that, the Crimson Tide, who have currently won six-straight games, will return home Saturday for a massive Iron Bowl rivalry matchup with Auburn, whom they are currently tied for first place in the SEC standings with.
ESPN’s “College GameDay” has also announced that the show will broadcast live from Coleman Coliseum on Saturday morning ahead of the contest between the nation’s No. 1 and No. 2 team.
