Rhode Island Rams (15-7, 4-6 Atlantic 10) at George Mason Patriots (18-5, 9-1 Atlantic 10)

Rhode Island is coming off a heartbreaking 80-79 loss to Fordham on Wednesday night, falling in the final seconds after battling back from a 15-point first-half deficit.

Sebastian Thomas led Rhode Island with 20 points to go with seven rebounds, five assists and four steals in the loss. David Green had 18 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots, and David Fuchs scored a season-high 16 points, with eight rebounds.

George Mason is coming off a 53-50 win at George Washington and is in sole possession of first place in the Atlantic 10. The Patriots have the nation’s eighth-longest win streak — eight in a row and 16 of their last 18 games.

A victory on Saturday would give the Rams their most wins in a season since going 21-9 in 2019-20.
