CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Louisville basketball’s Noah Waterman returned from a four-game absence during the Cardinals’ game Wednesday night at Boston College.
The sixth-year forward broke his right thumb during a Dec. 21 win at Florida State, then had four pins surgically installed in his shooting hand a week later. But he decided to play through it for a few weeks — before coach Pat Kelsey and his staff decided it was for the best that he take some time to properly recover.
Waterman, a Savannah, New York, native who transferred in from BYU, is averaging 6.5 points on 35% shooting (25.6% from 3-point range) with 3.9 rebounds across 21.6 minutes per contest across 18 appearances for U of L.
