Why ESPN changed Clemson vs Duke basketball game time

[ad_1]

Clemson basketball has a new start time for its marquee matchup on Saturday vs. Duke.

The No. 21 Tigers (18-5, 10-2 ACC) will play No. 2 Duke (19-2, 11-0) on Saturday (6:30 p.m. ET, ESPN) at Littlejohn Coliseum. The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. ET on Saturday.

The highly anticipated ACC game has been pushed back 30 minutes because of a potential conflict with the end of the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Indiana Pacers game, which also airs on ESPN.

Clemson vs. Duke could be for first place in the ACC standings if the Blue Devils fall to Syracuse on Wednesday night.

Duke leads the all-time series 113-33 against Clemson and is 13-4 vs. Tigers coach Brad Brownell. The Blue Devils have won four of their past five games vs. the Tigers with their lone loss coming at Littlejohn Coliseum on Jan. 14, 2023.

This high-stakes game will feature players with NBA aspirations, including Duke forward Cooper Flagg, Duke guard Kon Knueppel, Duke center Khaman Maluach and Clemson guard Chase Hunter.
