Saturday’s game between the No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide and the Arkansas Razorbacks at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville has been moved back 30 minutes.
The game is now scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m. CT, both teams announced Wednesday. The game will be televised on ESPN.
A potential scheduling conflict arose when ESPN announced this week that it would televise Saturday’s NBA game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Indiana Pacers, which begins at 3 p.m. CT. The Lakers acquired star Luka Doncic in a trade from the Dallas Mavericks last Saturday. Doncic is widely expected to make his Lakers debut against the Pacers.
Following Lakers vs. Pacers, ESPN is scheduled to air the Top 25 matchup between the No. 2 Duke Blue Devils and No. 21 Clemson Tigers. Duke vs. Clemson was also pushed back 30 minutes from its previously scheduled start time and is scheduled to get underway at 5:30 p.m. CT.
Alabama (19-3 overall, 8-1 SEC) is coming off a 90-69 win over the Georgia Bulldogs last Saturday. Mark Sears led the Crimson Tide with 20 points to go with five rebounds and six assists.
Arkansas (13-8, 2-6) defeated the Kentucky Wildcats in an 89-79 upset last Saturday at Rupp Arena ,marking John Calipari’s first game in Lexington since leaving Kentucky for Arkansas. The Razorbacks play the Texas Longhorns in Austin Wednesday night before their game against Alabama.
