MANHATTAN — Kansas State’s basketball team can record back-to-back victories for the first time since the beginning of December and the first time in Big 12 play period by getting past Oklahoma State today.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Bramlage Coliseum for the second meeting between the teams after Oklahoma State prevailed, 79-66, on Jan. 7 in Stillwater.

K-State (8-11, 2-6 Big 12) is coming off an impressive 73-60 wire-to-wire victory at home Saturday against West Virginia to start a two-game homestand. The Wildcats jumped out to an early 19-2 lead and never let the Mountaineers back in it. Five different K-State players scored in double figures, led by Dug McDaniel with 15 points.

In the first meeting against K-State, Oklahoma State forward Aboud Ousmane scored a season-high 27 points as the Cowboys blew the game open by scoring the last 15 points of the first half and never trailed again. But the Cowboys are coming off back-to-back losses at home against Arizona and at Texas Tech.
