Arkansas men’s basketball coach John Calipari, who led Kentucky basketball to a 410-123 record in 15 seasons, is returning to Rupp Arena on Saturday for the first time since leaving Lexington.

In Calipari’s first season with Arkansas, the Razorbacks are 12-8 overall and 1-6 in the SEC. The only ranked opponent they have defeated was then-No. 14 Michigan.

In his tenure with the Wildcats, Calipari coached 36 All-SEC selections, 14 All-Americans, 12 SEC Freshman of the Year winners, nine SEC Players of the Year, three national Players of the Year and one national Freshman of the Year.

He won one national championship in 2012, to go with six SEC Tournament titles, six regular-season conference championships, and 32 NCAA Tournament victories.

Mark Pope, in his first season leading UK, has guided the No. 12 Wildcats to a 15-5 overall record and 4-3 mark in the SEC.

Kentucky and Arkansas are scheduled to tip off at 9 p.m. Saturday at Rupp Arena. How do you think Calipari should be honored?

Voting will be open until noon Friday, and we will announce the results Saturday morning.
