UMass Minutemen (9-11, 4-3 Atlantic 10) at Rhode Island Rams (14-6, 3-5 Atlantic 10)

House added seven rebounds and Thomas had four assists. Jamarques Lawrence scored 14 points. La Salle led 33-31 at the break. A 7-0 second-half run gave the Explorers a 41-37 lead en route to the victory.

URI’s Jaden House goes to the basket for a jam during a game earlier this month. He had 16 points in the Rams last game, a loss to La Salle.

The Minutemen are coming off a 74-61 victory over George Washington at the Mullins Center, their third straight win and fourth in five games. Jaylen Curry and Rahsool Diggins each scored 19 points. Curry also had a team-high six assists, while Diggins connected on a game-high four of his seven 3-pointers. Daniel Hankins-Sanford provided a spark off the bench with 10 points and seven rebounds. Malek Abdelgwad grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds along with six points and two blocks.
