LEXINGTON — Kentucky basketball hasn’t yet wrapped up its 2025 recruiting class.
But it’s never too soon to begin looking ahead at the next crop of prospects.
Coach Mark Pope and the Wildcats don’t have a commitment in the 2026 cycle. Doesn’t make them much different than most schools at this juncture, though. Only three recruits in the top 50 of the 247Sports Composite rankings — Moustapha Diop (Georgia Tech; No. 19), Marcus Johnson (Ohio State; No. 30) and Kendre Harrison (Oregon; No. 49) — have committed. And Mississippi State is the only SEC school with a 2026 pledge: four-star big man Ladarius Givan committed last summer.
Per 247Sports, Kentucky has offered 10 prospects in the 2026 class.
Here is a closer look at those 10 recruits:

The four major recruiting databases have him among the top 20 prospects in the 2026 cycle, led by Rivals (No. 10), followed by On3 (No. 11), ESPN (No. 11) and 247Sports (No. 17). He possesses numerous offers but told On3 in early January that seven schools are contacting him more than others. That group, in alphabetical order: Alabama, Arizona, Houston, Kansas, Louisville, Rutgers and Washington. Watching Alozie in action at the prestigious City of Palms Classic in…
