Texas A&M basketball heads to Austin looking to get its first back-to-back win over its Texas Longhorn rivals since 1993-1994, when the A&M won the final matchup in ’93 and the first meeting the following year.
On Saturday, the Aggies travel to Austin to tip off the final of two matchups against their in-state rivals. Both teams are coming off wins over the top 25 teams.
Texas A&M (15-4, 4-2) completed an impressive comeback over Ole Miss on the road after not leading until the final go-ahead Manny Obaseki 3-pointer with 12.5 seconds left.
The Longhorns (13-6, 2-4) took care of business on their own court, pulling out a convincing 61-53 win over the Missouri Tigers. The Longhorns have won two of the last three games and are viewed as a fringe NCAA Tournament Madness team.

However, they adapted to life without him for much of January, as Taylor missed three consecutive games due to an undisclosed injury.
He returned to the lineup but hasn’t quite looked like himself, scoring 16 points in two games, with just four points on Wednesday night against Ole Miss. Whether it’s rust from the first extended absence of his career…
