Columbus Grove successfully pulled off an upset over previously unbeaten Spencerville behind a 20-point performance from Brady Basinger.

Trenton Barraza added 9 points for the Bulldogs (6-6, 4-1 NWC), while Trevon Baxter and Kyle Hopkins each finished with 8.

Spencerville (14-1, 4-1 NWC) was led by Owen Sensabaugh with 15 points, Will Sensabaugh with 14 and Carder Orr with 12.

Bluffton 71, Lincolnview 54

Bluffton had four players in double figures during a 17-point Northwest Conference victory.

Blake Sommers led the way with 15 points, followed by Marek Donaldson with 12, while Kain Wright and Carter Hohenbrink each added 11 for the Pirates (10-4, 2-2 NWC).

Lincolnview (5-10, 0-4 NWC) leaned on Max Hammons for 20 points in the loss.

Elida 49, Celina 36

Zori Island’s 16 points and Marcus Hill’s 12 led Elida (10-6, 5-1 WBL) to a Western Buckeye League win.

Gavin Wicker had a team-high 13 points for Celina (4-10, 3-3 WBL).

Defiance 68, Kenton 33

Kahlil Ligon pieced together a 30-point performance for Defiance (12-2, 5-1 WBL) in a dominant showing.

Kenton dropped to 1-12 (0-6 WBL) after the loss.

Shawnee 63, Wapakoneta 33

Shawnee (14-2, 6-0 WBL) leaned on Trevick Bertke for 22 points and Beckett Bertke for 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in a 30-point league win.

Caleb Adams had 10 points, while Elliott Block added 9 for the Redskins (6-9, 1-5 WBL).

Ada 67, McComb 57

Ada head coach Chris Sautter earned his 300th career win on Friday night against McComb.

Kayleb Hickman scored 21 points, while Zack Zimmerman added 17 points for the Bulldogs, who improved to 11-6 (5-2 BVC).

Arlington 45, Pandora-Gilboa 28

Lane Lee scored 7 points for Pandora-Gilboa (8-6, 5-2 BVC), while Cory Gerten and Cam Verhoff each added 6 points in the loss.

Perry 56, North Baltimore 40

Perry earned its second win of the season behind a 23-point outing from Amir Warner.

Hunter Scott added 11 and Boss Horrison recorded 10 points for the Commodores (2-4, 2-11 NWCC).
