GIRLS BASKETBALL

Kimberly 75, Neenah 38

KIMBERLY – Kate McGinnis poured in 15 points and three other Papermakers scored in double figures as they built a huge halftime advantage and cruised to the Fox Valley Association win.

Kimberly led 49-17 at the break and did not let up the rest of the way in improving to 11-0 in the FVA and 14-0 overall.

Also reaching double-digit scoring for the Papermakers were Ava Van Vonderen with 12 points, Haylie Dulas with 11 and Kennedy Ebben with 10.

Rowan Klesmit led Neenah with 16 points and went over 1,000 points for her career.

HORTONVILLE – The Polar Bears led by 13 points at halftime and then extended the lead in the second half to beat the Lightning.

Rainey Welson scored 43 points and went over 2,000 for her career to lead the Polar Bears. Leah Heraly made five 3-pointers and added 15 points.

Appleton North was led by Tay Maass with 15 points and Avery Werfal with 12.
