Temperatures in the Austin area are expected to plunge to the low 20s Monday night and Tuesday morning with snow or wintery mix in the forecast, according to the National Weather Service. However, temperatures are expected to rise above freezing by noon Tuesday, which means most roads should improve throughout the afternoon leading up to Tuesday’s game.
Texas basketball (12-6, 1-4 SEC) ended a grueling opening stretch of conference play with an 84-60 road loss at Florida Saturday. With little room for error, the Longhorns will try and bolster their NCAA Tournament case in a more manageable slate of games that starts with a visit from Missouri (15-3, 4-1). After playing four ranked teams in its first five SEC games, Texas only faces two ranked foes over its next six games.
