The disparity between Monmouth’s performances at home and on the road is stunning. The Hawks have won 16 of their last 17 games at OceanFirst Bank Center, while they’ve lost 23 of their last 25 true road games.

The ability to solve a problem that’s held the program back now holds the key to the season.

Coming off Saturday’s victory over two-time defending CAA champion Charleston, the Hawks (4-13, 2-2 CAA) embark on a four-game road trip, looking to build on the momentum from their biggest win since joining the league.

It all begins tonight (7 p.m.; FloCollege) against North Carolina A&T (4-14, 0-5 CAA) at the Corbett Sports Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Monmouth closes the road trip in Williamsburg, Virginia against Willian & Mary on Jan. 25.
