Drake women’s basketball wins on the road at Illinois State

The Drake women’s basketball team beat Illinois State 85-64 on Sunday in Normal, Ill.

Drake (11-5, 5-0 Missouri Valley Conference) was led by Katie Dinnebier’s 18 points. Courtney Becker had 12 rebounds.

Anna Miller added 13 points for the Bulldogs.

Shannon Dowell scored 14 points to lead Illinois State (9-7, 3-2).

Drake returns home Thursday to play Belmont at the Knapp Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
