Michigan State basketball extended its impressive winning streak to nine games in another road win on Sunday at Northwestern.
The Spartans used a dominant first half performance to get past pesty Northwestern on Sunday, winning by the final score of 78-68. The Spartans never trailed in the second half, and held a double-digit lead for most of the game.
With the win, Michigan State is now 14-2 overall and 5-0 in Big Ten play. The Spartans have now won nine straight games and are tied with rival Michigan for first place in the Big Ten.
