About anything that could go right for Michigan State, did go right on Thursday night. The Spartans dominated the visiting Washington Huskies in a Big Ten matchup inside of the Breslin Center, 88-54. MSU improves to 13-2 (4-0 B1G) on the season.
The game started with a 16-1 run for the Spartans, and they did not let up. A 42-13 lead for MSU took the two teams into the halftime break, showing elite offensive and defensive play.
While in the second half, things evened up a lot more, as they do in these types of games, the Spartans maintained their energy and kept their massive advantage over the Huskies.
The Spartans had four in double figures, with Jaden Akins leading the way with 20 points, while Jeremy Fears (12 points), Jase Richardson (12 points) and Tre Holloman (11 points) all aided the effort.
Michigan State will go on the road next to face off with Northwestern on Sunday in Evanston at noon.
