Rhode Island Rams (12-3, 1-2 Atlantic 10) at Richmond Spiders (7-9, 2-1 Atlantic 10)
At 12-3 overall, the Rams have already matched their win total from last season, but URI is coming off a tough home loss to George Washington on Wednesday, 75-67. Rhody fell behind early and didn’t take its first lead until 8:29 left to play, but couldn’t hang on.
Sebastian Thomas paced the Rams with 20 points and Quentin Diboundje had 14, along with 7 rebounds in the loss. URI was without David Green (left shoulder) and David Fuchs (toe).

The Richmond Spiders dropped a 64-58 Wednesday night contest to George Mason. They were led by 6-foot-8 forward Dusan Neskovic, who scored 16 in the loss.
Both teams are among the conference leaders from the foul line. Richmond is the top free-throw shooting team in the Atlantic 10 (shooting .779 from the line), while URI is the league’s top-scoring team at the stripe, averaging 19.7 made free throws per game.
The Spiders have won the last six games in the series, including an 85-77 victory in the Ryan Center last season. Richmond leads the overall series 20-11.
