WEST LAFAYETTE − Braden Smith has spent three seasons racking up accolades during his Purdue basketball career.
Now the junior point guard has another.
Big Ten Player of the Week.
Smith earned the honor for the first time in his career after helping the Boilermakers win three games over Toledo, Minnesota and Northwestern.

In those contests, Smith averaged 25 points, 9.7 assists and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 49.1% and 43.8% from 3-point range.
Smith had double-doubles against Toledo and Minnesota and totaled 22 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds Sunday against Northwestern.
