The path toward a 27th straight NCAA tournament appearance rolls on for Michigan State basketball.

Tom Izzo has his team on a markedly upward trajectory, winning seven straight games and climbing to No. 15 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll last week. The question right now — like almost every January for the past three decades — is not if the Spartans will make the Big Dance but rather where they will land and be seeded come Selection Sunday on March 16.
