Auburn basketball vs. Missouri: Prediction, injury updates, how to watch, tipoff time

After playing one of the toughest nonconference schedules in its program’s history, Auburn basketball’s slate won’t get any easier SEC play.

The league’s 16 teams went a combined 185-23 in nonconference play. Every SEC squad is considered a top-75 team nationally by KenPom, and 14 of the league’s members sit in the top 50 of the NET Rankings.

Bruce Pearl and the second-ranked Tigers will get one of the lower-ranked teams to open up league play, however, facing off with Missouri (11-2) at 3 p.m. CT Saturday at Neville Arena.

Injury updates: Auburn basketball vs. Missouri

Auburn: The Tigers should be at full health for this one. While they’re sure to be monitoring Johni Broome’s shoulder in the aftermath of his injury against Georgia State, he’s played in both games since and averaged 25.5 minutes.

Missouri: After missing five of games in December, sixth-year guard Caleb Grill returned in the Tigers’ win over Alabama State on Dec. 30. He suffered a neck injury on Nov. 27 against Lindenwood and was stretchered off the court. In eight games, Grill’s 12.6 points-per-game average is Missouri’s third-highest.
