MANHATTAN — Kansas State basketball tips off its Big 12 Conference schedule at home against Cincinnati at 6 p.m. Monday at Bramlage Coliseum.

K-State (6-5) dropped its last three nonconference games, including an 84-65 blowout at Wichita State on Dec. 21, while No. 17-ranked Cincinnati (10-1) has won four straight, most recently beating Grambling at home, 84-49, on Dec. 22.

This will be Kansas State’s first game at Bramlage Coliseum since beating Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Dec. 1, 120-73. The Wildcats’ Dec. 17 game against Drake, a 73-70 overtime loss at Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center, also counted as a home game.

K-State is led in scoring by Brendan Hausen with 13.9 points per game and David N’Guessan with 13.6 and 6.7 rebounds. Point guard Dug McDaniel adds 9.6 points and 4.5 assists, while forward Coleman Hawkins contributes 9.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists.

For Cincinnati, senior wing Simas Lukosius averages 14.9 points, point guard Jizzle James 12 points and 5.2 assists, and Texas transfer Dillon Mitchell 11.4 points and 7.5 rebounds.
