Updating Iowa State rankings in men’s college basketball polls

Iowa State men’s basketball improved to 10-1 with Sunday’s victory over Morgan State. Now the Cyclones head home for the holiday break before conference play begins.

The Cyclones open Big 12 play at Colorado on Dec. 30.

Iowa State stayed at No. 3 in the latest USA TODAY Sports men’s basketball coaches’ poll. In the Associated Press poll, T.J. Otzelberger’s team also remained at No. 3. Both polls were released Monday.
