A pair of winning streaks will be on the line when Kentucky Wesleyan travels to Western Kentucky for a men’s college basketball matchup on Saturday.

Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at E.A. Diddle Arena and will be televised on ESPN+.

Wesleyan (8-2) enters the exhibition following an 89-61 victory over East-West on Thursday at the Sportscenter, with the Panthers riding an eight-game winning streak.

On the opposite side, WKU (8-3) has won its last five outings, including Tuesday’s 86-73 home victory over Seattle. The Hilltoppers are closing out a four-game homestand before the holiday break.

Wesleyan, averaging 80 points per game on 48% shooting from the field and 37.6% from 3-point range, features a balanced group led by 6-foot-5 junior wing Logan McIntire (16.3 ppg, 5 rpg, 56.9% from 3), 6-2 junior guard Quentin Toles (14.7 ppg, 5.1 rpg), 6-1 fifth-year point guard Kennedy Miles (12.8 ppg, 4.7 apg, 1.3 spg) and 6-5 freshman forward Eddy Jones Jr. (10.4 ppg, 4.9 rpg). The four combined for 66 points in Thursday’s win, led by McIntire’s game-high 24 points.

The Hilltoppers, who are scoring 81.2 points per game and shooting 44.6% from the floor and 36.7% from distance, will counter with a group paced by 6-2 senior guard Don McHenry (17.5 ppg, 1.9 spg), 6-8 senior forward Babacar Faye (15.2 ppg, 7.8 rpg), 6-3 graduate guard Kristian Lander (11.1 ppg) and 6-4 freshman guard Julius Thedford (11.4 ppg, 42.2% from 3), among others.
