Athletics: On Dec. 15 in a tournament in Washington, D.C., Sussberg scored 32 points, had 13 rebounds and four assists leading the Raiders to the win over St. Mary Ryken, scored his 1,000th point and garnered MVP honors for the tournament. … In the first game of the tournament on Dec. 14 against Takoma Academy, he scored 36 points, had 11 rebounds and three assists. … On Dec 11 against Rye Country Day, he had 27 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. … Last season, he garnered All-Section, All Conference, and All League honors. He was nominated to the All-State team and was a finalist for Mr. Basketball. … The two-year captain of the basketball time will continue his athletic career at Princeton University.

Extracurriculars: Sussberg has interned at Willis Eye Hospital where he’s performed strategic analysis on Ophthalmology in nine publications. … He started his own company ‘JakeSuss Basketball’ coaching and mentoring young children through basketball lessons/clinics. … He’s raised money for Cancer Research, including, but not limited to, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. … Sussberg coordinated and took part in a car wash fundraiser for efforts in Israel.
