How far did Alabama basketball jump in the polls after marquee win over Creighton?

Alabama basketball walked away from Week 7 with another statement win.

The Crimson Tide moved up one spot in the polls to No. 7 after the 83-75 defeat of Creighton on Saturday.

The top three in the USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll remain unchanged with Tennessee at No. 1, Auburn at No. 2 and Iowa State at No. 3. UA likely would’ve seen a bigger jump if the Bluejays were what they’ve been in recent years, but Greg McDermott’s team was short-handed in its first trip to Tuscaloosa and entered the meeting unranked.

Creighton (7-4) received 20 votes to make the top 25 after upsetting No. 1-turned-No. 8 Kansas in the previous poll. The program received just five votes on Monday after the loss to Alabama (8-2).
