North Carolina falls out of USA TODAY Sports coaches poll

The North Carolina Tar Heels were able to end their losing streak by narrowly beating Georgia Tech on Saturday in the first ACC game of the season. But the damage was done.

With that that three-game losing streak including a loss to Alabama on Wednesday night, the Tar Heels have completely fallen out of the latest USA TODAY Sports coaches poll. The poll was released on Monday and UNC went from No. 22 to receiving just two votes.

It’s the first time they are out of the poll all season long.

The ACC is led by No. 6 Duke and No. 16 Clemson as the lone representatives in the poll. No. 19 Pitt also dropped out as well.
