Kansas State guard Taryn Sides, shown in a game from last season, came off the bench on Sunday to lead the Wildcats in scoring to pace them past Texas A&M 89-50 in College Station.
Kansas State guards Zyanna Walker and Serena Sundell combined for 33 points, six rebounds and eight assists to lead No. 12 Kansas State to an 89-50 nonconference win at Texas A&M on Sunday. But it was another guard, sophomore Taryn Sides, who came off the bench to spark the Wildcats.
Sides was 7 of 9 from the field, including a 5-for-7 clip from 3-point range, and finished with 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Kansas State (10-1) has won five straight games; A&M (5-5), meanwhile, suffered its 18th straight loss to ranked teams going back to the 2021 season, per ESPN. The Aggies dropped to 4-2 at Reed Arena in College Station.

A&M is off this week before hosting Texas Southern on Dec. 16 and then Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 19 before opening SEC play at home against Tennessee on Jan. 2.
