LSU men’s basketball is looking to keep its win streak alive as it hosts Florida Gulf Coast for another non-conference tilt.
The Tigers (7-1) are currently on a three-game winning streak and are fresh off of a big-time win over Florida State during the SEC/ACC Challenge tournament. Leading them past the Seminoles was senior guard Cam Carter who dropped a team-high 26 points. The 6-foot-3 and 190-pounder gave Florida State the works, leading his team to a dominating 85-75 dub.
Carter wasn’t alone, though. LSU had key contributions from fifth-year senior Jordan Sears and redshirt freshman Corey Chest. Sears followed Carter with 21 points, over half of those points coming from beyond the arc. Chest was a rebound machine for the Tigers leading them with 10 boards in the contest.
The Tigers will look to build off that win against the Eagles (3-6), who are looking to bounce back from their three-point loss to Furman University.
