Akron beat Northern Kentucky last year in dramatic fashion

Akron graduate and current Indiana Pacers forward Enrique Freeman made a slam dunk with 3.6 seconds left off of a pass from Ali Ali to lead the Zips to a 77-76 win at Northern Kentucky last year on Dec. 9.

Freeman scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win. Sammy Hunter made five 3-pointers and finished with 20 points for the Zips. Nate Johnson and Ali scored 13 points apiece. Ali also had five assists.

Marques Warrick finished with 30 points, six rebounds and three steals for the Norse. Trey Robinson added 20 points and seven rebounds and Sam Vinson had 10 points and four steals for Northern…
