Alabama basketball guard Latrell Wrightsell Jr. left the court in the No. 9 Crimson Tide’s game against Oregon early in the second half of the Players Era Festival championship.
After attempting a 3-point shot with 18:55 to the buzzer, the returning Final Four starter was untouched on the play but hit the court screaming in pain with an apparent lower leg injury.
Wrightsell, who struggled with injury throughout UA’s 2023-24 season, is shooting 49% to put up an average of 11.7 points per game on the year. His averages also include 1.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists.

Wrightsell suffered an offseason lower leg injury that left him benched until coach Nate Oats cleared him for a minutes restriction in the season opener against UNC-Asheville.
Last season, Wrightsell missed two weeks of action following a head injury in a win against Texas A&M, although he ultimately returned to the starting lineup before a season-ending loss to UConn.
